Compound joinery and curves are the signature features of this stunning pavilion. The 16x32 timber frame plan was originally designed as a boathouse on a local lake. Since then we cut and raised this frame for a creekside pavilion, complete with a stone fireplace. This frame showcases all the beauty and timeless style a timber frame has to offer.
Eastern white pine was chosen for this frame. As a regional species, pine is both readily available and reasonably priced. The clients opted to stain the frame a warm darker color that highlights the pavilion against the lush green background of the woods.
