This Cypress timber frame pavilion serves many purposes. It was built for Wildwater Ltd. at their Chattooga River outpost in Long Creek, South Carolina. They use it for checking in guests and much needed storage. A place to eat food and to hang out in the shade make it a popular spot. The multi-story multi-functional timber frame building meets a variety of needs for this bustling outpost. View the timber frame animation below!
This design is a very versatile timber frame. You can enclose more of the ground level, or leave it completely open. The entire structure could be enclosed, lower and upper levels. We can see this being built for a mountain cabin or waterfront getaway. Think tiny house! Can you see yourself on the upper deck enjoying a sunset or your morning coffee?
Take a look below at the timber frame animation and see how this timber frame was put together.
