MORESUN Timber Tidbits

Spring has brought us an interesting mix of projects, large and small, new and old. And at the shop, after working through a winter with both ends completely open, we decided to close in the back wall. Always evolving!

Here's a look at what's been happening ~

Historic Renovation

Union County Courthouse restoration

The original Union County Courthouse in Monroe, NC was built in 1886 and now operates as a museum. Water infiltration in the clock tower caused structural issues, which we've been taking care of. Exploring the bones of these historic buildings is always thrilling!

Coming Soon to Greenville, SC!

Flying Rabbit timber frame

Flying Rabbit Adventures, an aerial adventure park, will offer lots of outdoor fun. We are building a timber framed check in pavilion and an observation deck.

Recent Work

timber frame workshop

This 44'x39' workshop was our client's dream. The four bent frame features a hammer beam interior bent, and two side wings for additional space. The loft has great views of the adjacent lake and will be an enticement to put down the tools and relax.
