Quickly nicknamed the "Stealth Cabana" this Cypress timber frame cabana was an interesting project. Raising the cabana in the Atlanta August heat, next to a beautiful pool, was a hot, hot job. The crew got it done and our client put it into use right away.
Timber Frame Cabana - From Shop to Site
Fitting up the top portion of the timber frame cabana in the shop
The cabana was raised near the pool, tucked into the lush grounds
Cypress was chosen for its natural rot resistant qualities. It's a great option for outdoor timber frames and a favorite of ours to work with.
Our work was done and the project was turned over to the contractor. The cabana was stained and roofed. Rock work around the base of the posts was chosen to match the bar. Running electricity to the timber frame completed the structure. Adding a spot near a pool to get out of the sun is always a good idea. Throw in a bar, comfortable chairs, tables, fans and lights and you're set. The timber frame cabana quickly became a favorite spot to hang out!
